Inspiration for the Upcoming 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go #3
Something else that we try to do before the pledge drive 24 hour marathon is SLEEP!! This is the eighth year in a row that we have volunteered to undertake this monumentally challenging event, and our tactics regarding sleep have changed dramatically over the years.
In the begining Shy Boy Tim and I would head over to Scooter Polanski's home theater. We would watch the kind of things I am sharing with you in these posts all night long, crawl into the station for the morning show and then home to sleep all day before the 6 p.m. kick off. This sounds good, but in practice a gigantic monkey wrench was tossed in a few years back when some home developers across the street literally spent the day exploding and digging out a basement for a new house. There was explosions on and off all day, and I got MAYBE two hours of sleep before the start of the 24 hour marathon!!
Needless to say, we have now settled for a good nights sleep the night before, and napping and resting the day away Thursday before the shennanigans begin. It doesn't make staying awake on the air for 24 hours any easier, but at least we can say we did our best!! So in addition to sharing inspirational musical clips, I also want to give you all some sleep training suggestions. At almost just a week out, Shyboy Tim and I are attempting to bank away as many hours of sleep as possible, and we hope you are doing the same!

Allright - I am not getting any sleep after watching Bon Scott and the guys!! Oh - I just watched the video below of the American Werewolf "Gable Film". I still think it is a man, a wierd moving man on his hands and knees, but a man none-the-less. What do you think?
