Inspiration for the Upcoming 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go #6

THIS PARTICULAR INSPIRATION COMES FROM OUR VISIT TO THE RADIO GODS, i.e. the KMSU radio tower. With two rounds of Shuffle Function Radio Roulette coming up during the 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go, we can't take our chances. Believe me, it is already a nightmare for Shyboy Tim and I to completely surrender ourselves over to the whims and moods of the radio Gods! We do everything in our power to please the Radio Gods, and so we trek on over to the tower and leave our offerings.

This practice began several years back when we experienced an incredibly painfull Shuffle Function Radio Roulette - one that left us shattered and doubting the liklihood of ever doing another one. Being superstitious folks, we brought over a few trinkets and tried to make peace with the Radio Gods. Knock on wood, it seems to have worked. We have had a few rough patches, but never one of those knock down drag around sessions.

Shyboy Tim and I went over to the KMSU tower this morning and did our best. We left some extra special offerings, a blank cassette tape in honor of the new Shuffle Function t-shirt, a Let's Bowl! sticker from back in the day, an Elvis commemorative ornament, a packet of throat coat tea, and some decorations to. Have a look for yourself.

What an amazing morning we had to kick off the Spring Pledge Drive! Thank you radio Heroes! Tomorrow is the big day - tomorrow night we begin 24 hours of live radio, and there is no turning back. Rest up Shuffle Functioneers, and we will see you in the morning.
