By 5:30 Mankato had already experienced The Legendary Stardust Cowboy on our morning show, and The Fleshtones had played a kick ass in-store at Tune Town. At this point, however, the day wasn't even close to being over.

The Ledge did his soundcheck at the same time as the Tune Town show, and then The Fleshtones went to The Red Sky Lounge to do theirs. When they were done it was time to wait. We built up a pretty heady anticipation leading up to this day, but there was a real buzz in the room, and it wasn't from The Blue Whales, the featured drink of the evening.

This is the introduction Shelley wrote for The Fleshtones. She's a twin, but sometimes she neglects to tell people that right away when she meets them. She probably should have already told you that. Anyway, that's what she was going to do that night.
