A Heads Up About Wednesday Mornings Shuffle Function

Being able to host Shuffle Function means the world to Shyboy Tim and I and we are not afraid to take drastic measures to ensure the success of the KMSU Fall PLedge Drive. Don't believe us? then tune in tomorrow morning for a crash course in what could be. It will be a post-apocalyptic radio insight that we do our best to prevent with each and every pledge drive.

But you have a choice Shuffle Functioneer. Call and make your pledge at (507) 389 - 5678 or if you are out and about, call 1-800-456-7810. You can also surf on over to http://www.kmsu.org/ Every pledge from one dollar to a bazillion dollars adds up folks and is much appreciated at your Mom and Pop stop on the radio dial.

I'd like to share with you just one of the many reasons I have for supporting KMSU. Do you see this guy in the photo below? That's Dave Engen, host of Listen To Your Folks Sunday mornings.

Over this summer he and I teamed up to hold KMSU's first ever Radio Camp. For a week we shared our passion for radio and audio recording with fourteen students from the Freedom School of Central High. It was a rewarding challenge for both of us, and one that we hope to repeat next summer.Dave has a contagious love of recording audio stories and histories, and Radio Camp was a great way to pass along his skills to the next generation of story-tellers. I am very proud to have been a part of Radio Camp, and it could never have happened without a radio station like KMSU. Please do your part financially and assist us with your pledge of support.

Thanks!

Shelley
