Jandek On Corwood tonight and Countdown to Halloween Blog Post 13

I can't believe how fast this month is flying by! With Jandek's performance now just a week away life can't get much more hectic. But these are happy days Shuffle Functioneers and we hope you are all along for the ride. I was snooping around on-line looking for inspiration for today's Halloween blog post and came across this creepy video by the Lennon Sisters on The Lawrence Welk Show. They are singing Dry Bones, but more importantly they are scaring the crap out of me.

I think there should be laws made banning children the right to dress as skeletons. That clip reminded me of one of my favorite School House Rock songs. I didn't see this one as often as I'm Just A Bill or Conjunction Junction, but I loved Them Not So Dry Bones one for the spooky skeletons.

While we are on the subject of Dem Bones or Dry Bones, how many of you out there have watched the TV show The Prisoner? For those of you nodding yes or raising your hands to signify that you know what I'm talking about, maybe you will recall this crazy scene.

Now if you think that was a little bit out there, then I don't know what to tell you about this last clip. I was looking for The Prisoner bit above when I saw this on you tube. I have never seen the film that it comes from, even though I am a fan of Peter O'Toole's. I just don't know what to make of this version of  Dry Bones - see what you think.

If you have a guess let me know tonight at Jandek On Corwood - we will see you at 8:30 pm.
