SWEET SIXTEEN Countdown to Halloween - Art for Puppies and Kitties

Now Showing at The Coffee Hag:

This morning James Mackey joined us in the studios once again to update us on how his auction is coming along. The auction is called HOWLWEEN CREATURE FEATURE, and consists of 15 paintings of ghouls, werewolves, monsters and more! All of the proceeds from the auction James will be giving to BENCHES: The Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society. They depend upon public donations to thrive, and so your art purchase will all go to a great cause.

If you want to see the paintings up close and in person head on down to The Coffee Hag. They will be hanging there through Halloween. Bidding for the paintings actually will end on October 25th at 7 p.m. so be sure to to contact James before that time. There are several ways for you to reach him: you can call him at (507) 514 - 4391 or you can email him at james@autumnnightbooks.com

You can follow all of the bids at James's website - and I suggest that you do. Highest bidder wins, and so it pays to be sure that is you! Just click on the link below -
You will not only be supporting a great cause, but you will win a great piece of art from a local artist, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity!!
Jandek tickets are only available for pre-sale through today. If you have yet to get your tickets for Jandek's first ever Minnesota performance this Saturday - don't put it off any longer.
People are coming in from around the country, so don't hesitate! Tickets will be available at the door, but there is limited seating, so grab those tickets and we will see you Saturday night!!

We also have another Jandek Cover Art Contest submission to pass along from Mona.

The competition is fierce - they are all fantastic. If you have yet to send in your photo to enter the contest, you can do so by emailing us at shufflefunction@hotmail.com  We will pick our three favorites and announce the winners this Friday on the morning show.
