RECORD STORE DAY THIS SATURDAY!

We're getting more than a little excited for Record Store Day 2013, which happens this Saturday, April 20th.  Tune Town is getting loads of amazing stuff, so you'll want to get there early to check out the festivities.  Don't miss out on the Record Store Day exclusives!  It's going to be another expensive one for us...

THE DETAILS

7:00 am - VINYL FOR A QUARTER, DOUGHNUTS AND COFFEE!
Load up on treats and caffeine so you'll be playing your a-game when the doors open!

9:00 am - TUNE TOWN OPENS

FOR REAL... the line each year gets longer and longer to get into the store, so don't be the sap at the end of the line!  YOU WILL MISS OUT!

9:30-ish - RADIO ROULETTE

When we're done with the first round of shopping we'll play Radio Roulette until noon!  Stop by the table and draw a number to determine the musical destiny of Record Store Day shoppers.  It'd be nice to have somebody else to blame for the crappy music other than ourselves.

2:00 pm - LIVE MUSIC FROM CULT OF AMANDA!

The first ever gig for Shelley's band Cult of Amanda happens!  Show up and cheer them on as they roll through a bunch of kick ass covers!

5:00 pm - LIVE MUSIC FROM GOODNIGHT GOLD DUST!

Area faves Goodnight Gold Dust will be making their presence known on the Tune Town stage, and the place will probably be packed, so make sure you get there early!

7:00 pm - GRIND-FU CINEMA DOUBLE FEATURE
                LAST SHOP STANDING
                COTTON PICKIN' SMASH

At 7:00 we'll be screening the official documentary of Record Store Day 2013: Last Shop Standing.  It's a big ol' love letter to record stores, and you're going to find the energy and story to be contagious.  Basically, you'll go back to Tune Town and see what you missed, because you will miss being in a record store.

Last Shop Standing is only about 50 minutes long, so at about 8:00 pm we'll be screening Cotton Pickin' Smash, which is the story of The Legendary Stardust Cowboy.  You'll get all the highs and lows from start to finish, as well as discussions with all the major players from Ledge's life.  It's very entertaining, so if you're a fan you won't want to miss this rare screening!
