Sid Caesar died today at the age of 91.  He was kind of a god.  In the early days of television he starred on the legendary live show Your Show Of Shows.  Caesar, along with Imogene Coca, created a program that's still gut busting funny today.  Of course, it doesn't hurt when your writer's room is populated by Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Neil Simon and Woody Allen.  Seriously.  I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be in that writer's room.

The depressing thing about Your Show Of Shows is that hardly any episodes exist.  It was live in the early days of TV, and the network didn't think about saving programming at the time.  There are hours of programming that are just gone.  Luckily, there were a few moments that were preserved, and they're priceless.  Watch these clips and have a couple of laughs for Sid.
