We will start at the beginning, be sure to drop us an email if you have any questions or concerns. You can reach us at shufflefunction@hotmail.com or give us a call during the morning show.

MONDAY OCTOBER 27th - all Lou Reed Morning Show

It will be one year since we lost Lou Reed, and we will spend the morning show celebrating his music. This is one of those days that we would really love to hear from you with your requests and memories. We love hearing stories from listeners who've had run ins with musicians or want to share with us the first time they heard The Velvet Underground. Call us or text your requests at 389 - 5678. You can also drop us an email at shufflefunction@hotmail.com.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 28TH - OUR FAVORITE TEXAN LISA WILL BE THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR FOR THE DAY from 6 to 9 a.m.

This is a day long in the making. We have known Lisa for over a decade, but being that she lives all the way down in Texas, we have never met her before. That is about to change, as she hits the road on her way to KMSU. She will be taking over the airwaves Tuesday morning and playing all kinds of music - much of which I'm guessing we have never heard before. We are super excited to have her join us live in the studio, and I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you to set the alarm clock that morning for 6 a.m.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH - KMSU FALL PLEDGE DRIVE BEGINS

Look at beardless Shyboy Tim! We love Pledge Drive time around here, because we get to talk to so many of our listeners! We have some fantastic premiums lined up for this drive too, including a very special one that we will be trying out for the first time - BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU ANYMORE ABOUT IT! You will have to wait until the Pledge Drive kicks off (but be sure to check the blog - we may have a sneak peek).

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30TH - SHUFFLE FUNCTION RADIO ROULETTE 6 P.M.

Halloween means one thing and one thing only in Shuffle Function Land - time to get out the K-Tel records and magic hats! There is nothing more frightening to us then not having control over our playlists, and on this night we hand over our fate to the Radio Gods. This will be a very special round of Shuffle Function Radio Roulette, because we will be joined once again your favorite Texan, Lisa. From 6 to 7 p.m. chance will be dictating what we play so be sure to join us for what could easily be the worst or best hour of radio music
you'll ever hear.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 31st - LUX INTERIOR'S PURPLE KNIF SHOW from 6 to 9 a.m.

A Halloween tradition for the morning show, we will be playing Radio Cramps throughout the morning show. What does that mean? We will be playing a radio show recorded by Lux Interior of The Cramps in the 1980's in which he plays 45 records from his personal collection. That's right - we will be playing a vinyl record of someone playing vinyl records! Wrap your mind around that music geeks!

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 6th - PAUL IS DEAD, LONG LIVE WILLIAM CAMPBELL (a Canadian )

Conspiracy, backwards records and dead Beatles.
Enough said.
Tune in to hear the truth about Paul McCartney from 6 to 9 a.m. on the morning show.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 7th  - POLKA TIL YOU PUKE
from 6 to 9 a.m.

We will have three hours of polka music during the morning show. I don't need to tell you that polka music is party music! Expect to have a smile on your face all day long after you tune in to KMSU. We will be joined by Concertina Hall Of Fame member Ambrose Kodet and #1 Polka Fan Maude Luskey. Be sure to send us your requests and put your dancing shoes on!
