Congratulations to Dave and Round Bale Recordings!

Free Press photo by John Cross
If you tuned in to KMSU during the Spring Pledge Drive's Record Party then you heard the world premiere of Round Bale Recordings first vinyl release by Tilth. Dave Perron of Free Form Freakout is pictured above holding this album - the first on his new record label. That is a pretty cool sentence to write - he is holding his first album. A big Congratulations! to you Dave. His hard work is detailed in an article in yesterday's Free Press. You can read it here in case you missed it. One of the many things I've come to love about KMSU over the years is getting to know all of the various radio show hosts, and exchanging opinions and suggestions with them. Dave's ear  is always exploring the music scene, and we have all been fortunate enough to hear what he's found. Be sure to congratulate him when you see him out and about, and REALLY be sure to support Round Bale Recordings. You can pick up a copy of Tilth's "Country Music" at Tune Town, I suggest the first lazy day you get, drop the needle on this album, sit back, and see where it takes you. And Dave - order a pizza, go for a swim in the pool and celebrate!
