Do you love documentaries?  OF COURSE YOU DO!  There's a new series starting soon on IFC called Documentary Now, starring Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, and produced by Seth Meyers.  The promos have been running for a few months now, and it looks like it's going to be pretty hilarious.  Each episode has them doing a parody of different types of documentaries, and it looks like they have a go at some legends (see Grey Gardens above).

Episode one is online right now, and it has Armisen and Hader going after Vice documentaries.  Vice seems to be the whipping boy of the internet right now, with both Documentary Now and The Onion going after them.  This episode features the intrepid reporters of Dronez ("spelled with a zed") on the hunt for a Mexican drug lord.  And hilarity ensues.

The "50th" season of Documentary Now premieres on Thursday, August 20th, on IFC.  If this episode is any indication, the series is going to be pretty great.
