Here's us, sleep deprived but psyched, mere moments after the Shuffle Function 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go ended.  This year the marathon was a blur of emotions, and it's really hard to even get into what went down.  The loss of Prince set an emotional tone for us and the listeners, and we were so grateful to have the opportunity to throw everything we had planned out the window and play his music for the first three hours.  It's hard to even know what to do in times like that, when you have a job to do but there's something so much bigger than all of us going on.  You guys were great, though, and I hope we were able to do right by you.

We'll try and get some more info up over the weekend, but what you guys helped KMSU accomplish was nothing short of remarkable.  By the end of the marathon KMSU had raised over $28,000 of the total $35,000 goal, and TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS of that was during the last four hours!  KMSU listeners donated $5000, which was doubled by a matching grant.  It was overwhelming for us, to say the least, but KMSU listeners wow us constantly.  There aren't enough ways to thank you for that, but you need to know that everyone at KMSU is so grateful to have your support.  This community is incredible.

Tonight is Grind-Fu Cinema in Wiecking 220 Auditorium on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato, and we'd love it if you guys joined us.  It's gonna be an insane double bill, featuring The Guy From Harlem, which needs to be seen to be believed, and Enter the Dragon, which will hand you your butt because it's INCREDIBLE.  The double feature is completely free, too, so bring your friends and some snacks!  We'd really like the chance to thank you in person.
