In case you haven't heard, there's a fantastic dream-come-true once-in-a-lifetime shindig going down on April 8th, 2017.  Yes, it's ages away, but that's only because there's so much work to be done, and you can be a part of it!  There's a group of folks (Shuffle Function included) that are putting on a Jesus Christ Superstar Pageant & Singalong at Patrick's In St. Peter, Minnesota.  You read that correctly.

This is a call to all the kids that loved taking part in their high school production of Jesus Christ Superstar and really miss the experience!  This is a call to all the musical fans that sing Andrew Lloyd Webber at the top of their lungs in their car during the long commute to work!  This is a call folks that love being artsy/craftsy and would love the chance to build sets and design costumes!  This is a call to all the folks that have been singing and playing instruments for years in bands, professionally or for fun, that have been DYING for the chance to get ambitious like this for the sheer joy of the experience.

Surely, this is for you.  You must fall into one of these groups.  Maybe you're in a group that hasn't even been identified yet, but their undetermined role will turn out to be the secret to putting on a top notch community performance of Jesus Christ Superstar and a kick ass bar?  There's really only one way to find out.  You need to join this ragtag bunch of rogue musicians, artists, and theater nerds for what is likely to be one hell of a memorable performance.

The Jesus Christ Superstar Pageant and Singalong is looking for singers (both featured and chorus), musicians, artists, and general volunteers to pull this thing off.  Let's face it:  Andrew Lloyd Webber aint your run of the mill campfire singalong.  It will take all types and all talents to pull it off, but when it flies... man, it's gonna soar.

Visit the Facebook group for info and to get questions answered, or drop us an e-mail at  There has only been one rehearsal so far, so you can still get in early and watch this production grow.  It's gonna be super cool.  The next rehearsal is on Wednesday, October 5th at seven p.m. at the Arts Center of Saint Peter.  Bring instruments, voices, questions, etc and become part of something really special.

During the first rehearsal the participants ran through Heaven On Their Minds, What's The Buzz, and I Don't Know How To Love Him.  The songs added for the October 5th rehearsal will be Superstar, Herod's Song, Peter's Denial, and The Last Supper/Gethsemane.  There's still plenty of time to bust out your soundtrack album and get to work on them.

Below is a video Shyboy Tim put together from footage he shot at the first rehearsal.  Hopefully it gets the point across that the experience was a blast!
