WILLIAM CAMPBELL POST #6: YELLOW SUBMARINE

The Beatles had little involvement in Yellow Submarine beyond contributing songs and appearing briefly at the end of the film.  They didn't even voice their own characters in the movie.  Despite this limited involvement, the band still managed to get some clues into the film.  Two of these clues are included in this clip from the film.  The first think you'll notice is that there is one scene where TWO Pauls appear in one shot.  Does this depict Paul and Fake Paul?  You'll also hear the song All Together Now, which includes the words "I Buried Paul" when played backwards.  INCREDIBLE!

Also, let's not forget that hand over Paul's head...

In 1969 The Beatles recorded their last studio album.  While not the last Beatles album released, it would be their last collaborative effort, and this meant it would be their last chance to get the clues out to their fans...
