THE FRYE THIS FRYE-DAY ON KMSU! (do you see what I did there?)

THE FRYE ON FRYE-DAY
during the 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go

The Frye have been supporters and friends of KMSU for a long time, and we're always so thrilled when they take time to swing by the studio and help preach the gospel of independent public radio.  That's exactly what they'll be doing THIS FRYE-DAY (do you see what I did there?) when they swing by KMSU to help pledge pitch in the final hours of the Shuffle Function 24 Hour Pledge Drive A-Go-Go.  They'll bring voices and guitar so they can do their usual rocking (expect nothing less) but there's always the chance that the phones will be ringing off the hook and the studio will be a whirling dervish of fists and elbows as we take your pledges.  EITHER WAY, WE WIN!

The above footage was shot a week after Leonard Cohen passed away last year.  The Frye, joined by Shelley from Shuffle Function and Scott Rahe from 'Hey JC!' ran through So Long, Marianne and Famous Blue Raincoat before a Jesus Christ Superstar Pageant & Singalong rehearsal.  Those two songs (performed by Leonard Cohen) plus eleven more albums worth of material, can be yours when you pledge $100 during the Spring Pledge Drive.  Call 507-389-5678 or 1-800-456-7810 and get 'Leonard Cohen: The Complete Studio Albums Collection' as a thank you gift!
